Tripartite is thrice as nice

In Graz, the Anatomische Gesellschaft held their 118th annual meeting “Cross discipline and Networking”, together with the Austrian and Swiss societies as a tripartite meeting, under the sponsorship of Niels Hammer as the local host. In an impressively renovated building, roughly 400 scientists met to present to each other new studies on all aspects of anatomy. Especially impressive were the keynote lectures, which were delivered by Andrew Kowalczyk (on desmosomes), Soeren Lienkamp (on transgenic frog models) and Valentin Nägerl (on STED and 2P imaging advances). This was also a great opportunity to present the Institute Head from Göttingen to the colleagues. Our contribution, featuring Felix Preuss’ thesis work, was also very well received. Everybody is now looking very much forward to meeting again in Würzburg next year.
