Teaching in neuroanatomy

The Department of Neuroanatomy and its staff are significantly involved in training in the state examination courses in human medicine and dentistry. In addition to the classic lectures on anatomy and neuroanatomy, a special focus is placed on a wide range of extracurricular courses related to the anatomical dissection course for 2nd semester students (in the winter semesters). For 3rd semester students (in the summer semesters), the histological training is the focus of our teaching.

In addition, we are involved in the Bachelor's programs "Biology" and "Molecular Medicine" as well as the Master's programs "Development, Neuronal and Behavioral Biology" and "Molecular Medicine".

Furthermore, our staff teaches in the international study program IMPRS Neuroscience.

Below you will find a short overview of the courses of the Department of Neuroanatomy, which are regularly offered in the winter semester and in the summer semester.
